Craft and Pour Soy Candle Workshop (Ages 8+)

Pour your own soy candle, deck out the tin, and decorate a polymer clay matchbox to go with it.

A hands-on evening of candle making with 100% natural soy wax, a clean-burning, renewable alternative to paraffin. Come on your own, bring a friend, or bring your kid (8+) and help them make theirs. While your candle sets, head to our supply bar to customize your tin lid and decorate a premade polymer clay matchbox.

• When: Thursday, Nov 19 · 6:00–7:30 PM
• Skills needed: none. We'll walk you through every step: centering the wick, getting the temperature right, and pouring safely.
• Supplies used: natural soy wax, a scent bar of fragrance oils to sample and blend, an 8 oz matte black tin with lid, a premade polymer clay matchbox, paint markers, label stock, pens, and mixed-media accents. All included.
• You'll take home: an 8 oz soy candle, your decorated matchbox, and a care guide for the cleanest, longest burn
• Pick-up: soy wax needs 24–48 hours to set and shouldn't be moved while warm, so we'll set a time for you to come back for your candle. Your matchbox goes home with you that night.
• Ages: 8+. Kids under 18 need an adult with them. The adult comes free as a helper; if they'd like to make their own candle and matchbox too, they book a seat.
