A Little Piece of Media, Hand-Cut Paper Maps Workshop
Thursday, December 3rd · 6:30 – 8:30 PM · Ages 18+ · $45, all supplies included
Join us for a relaxed, hands-on creative workshop where you'll make a beautiful, hand-cut paper map of Media, Pennsylvania – a place we know and love.
Everything you need will be provided: beautiful paper, precision cutting tools, map templates, and a frame for each participant.
We'll begin with a few simple exercises to get you comfortable using the craft knife before moving on to cutting out your very own map of Media. You can even add a tiny heart to mark your home address or another special spot in town!
Once your map is complete, you'll choose a background colour and frame your finished artwork, ready to take home.
All you need to bring is your preferred drink (water, wine, or whatever takes your fancy) and perhaps a few nibbles to enjoy along the way.
No previous experience necessary – just come ready to get creative!
A lovely way to celebrate our town, and a thoughtful, personalised holiday gift or keepsake for your own home.

Papercutting
I am an architect and artist with a passion for exploring the intersection of design and place. Originally from London, I relocated to Media in 2019, via Philadelphia, and have since found inspiration in the spaces I now call home.
Drawing from my architectural background, I create intricate, hand-cut paper works that explore the built environment around me. My art focuses on the beauty and complexity of urban landscapes, whether it’s a detailed map of a local street, an elevation study of a beloved building, or a deeper exploration of the surrounding townscape.
Every piece is carefully crafted by hand, with each cutting representing my love for architecture and my commitment to capturing the essence of the places that shape our lives.
